Mary BatsonStoryteller, mediator and barnstormer-in-training Mary Batson has a wandering, wondering mind and a penchant for asking questions she can’t answer. The older she gets, the less she knows, which can be a very good thing, because it makes surrendering to the mystery that much easier.  Each day she can ask her questions again, and answer them with the knowing: This is what I think today.

One thing she’s pretty sure of, though: This thing we call the Divine – it’s here. Oh yes, it’s here. And it isn’t anything at all like what we’ve always imagined and projected. It’s even BETTER. God is in the dirt and the dreck, just as much as the sunny and sublime.

So pull up a chair – the tea kettle is just beginning to whistle. Let’s have a cup and think about this together. Where do YOU see God, this God of Many Faces?

Where else can you find Mary?
